Anagram Finder 0.9
==================
16th October 1992
James Lucy, CompuServe 100023,504
This is an early release of Anagram Finder for Microsoft Windows NT, a
program which simplifies the formation of phrases from peoples'
names, or from other phrases. It requires human guidance to
determine which of the many possible paths to follow.
It is intended purely as entertainment - some amusing or apt anagrams
can often be formed from colleagues' or relatives' names, or the names
of public figures. The name 'Ross Perot', to take a current example, can
be rearranged (unfairly) to 'Sore Sport' but longer names involving
more letters, and perhaps including a middle name, can produce many
different phrases.
More information and examples are provided in the Windows help file
provided with the program.
Installation
============
When the ZIP file has been unzipped, there should be four files:
ANAG.EXE the main executable file, for Microsoft Windows
ANAG.HLP the help file
ANAGWORD.TXT an ASCII list of words
READANAG.ME this file
Pick a directory, copy all the files in, then in Program Manager (File New)
create a Program Item which executes ANAG.EXE, and sets the directory
you chose as the working directory. That's it!
